Biography

I am currently the Editorial Director for TripOvation, Inc., a new online travel company that will launch in the fall. Prior to this position, I was the Executive Editor/Travel Editor for Incentive magazine for two years and a senior editor at MeetingNews for three years. I began to freelance in 2000 and continue to do so even though on staff. My personal photography has accompanied many of my articles. I decided to change careers (from a decade in marketing and development) to travel writing in 2000 after a year-long sabbatical spent mainly in Southeast Asia.
