Hello NATJA Family!
As the dog days of summer begin to wind down, there is still time for barbecues, concerts in the park, and last-minute family vacations. In some parts, kids are already getting ready to return to school. Either way, it is a time to appreciate our families and communities and be grateful for the freedoms we enjoy.
We had successful and engaging DMO, media and Advisory Board meetings in June and July. Congratulations to the following members for winning door prizes: Kristi Switzer from Travel Juneau, Rebekah Burns from Visit Pearland, and media members Sabina Lohr, Kathryn Wagner, Barbara Singer, and Jim Bamboulis.
We have begun the initial preparation for our 2025 conference in Palm Springs. Today, we launch registration for the conference with a special early bird promotion just for our members! Media members who register by August 31 will get $100 off registration and can participate in our monthly payment plan. By taking advantage of the plan, you can spread your registration fee over a 10-month period! This is a deal that can’t be missed!
For those of you who were not able to attend the 2024 conference in Galveston, don’t forget that the professional development sessions are available online and are a part of your member benefits!
On September 1st, we launch our awards competition and our membership drive. We will have more details on these two programs in our next issue of NATJA Notes.
