NORTH LITTLE ROCK (Wednesday, October 26, 2022) – In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Park Hill Historic District, Patio on Park Hill presented by the Park Hill Business Merchants Association will return Thursday, November 3, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lakehill Shopping Center at 4020 JFK Boulevard in North Little Rock.
Sponsored by First Security Bank, Patio on Park Hill will be free and family-friendly with food, drinks, vendors from local businesses, and live music. Attendees can bring lawn chairs and leashed dogs are welcome. The main tent stage, sponsored by The Filling Station, will feature live music by Jimmy Bishop followed by Shannon Boshears. According to the North Little Rock History Commission, developer Justin Matthews debuted the residential subdivision Park Hill in 1922, advertising it as a competitor to Little Rock’s Pulaski Heights neighborhood. Most homes reflect the Craftsman and Craftsman Bungalow architectural styles, with some Period Revival styles. Recent updates to the area include an influx of new businesses and updates through the City of North Little Rock’s Jump Start program to improve walkability such as larger sidewalks in the business corridor.
