Get ready for a ‘berry’ good time in Buena Park sampling the best boysenberry bites in town! The lively City of Buena Park is well-known for its major attractions, but locals love it for their diverse foodie scene and being proudly known as the birthplace of the boysenberry. This unique fruit, a cross between a raspberry, blackberry, and loganberry, was first cultivated in the 1920s by Walter Knott. Today, Knott’s Berry Farm, California’s 1st Theme Park, celebrates its connection to the boysenberry by showcasing its culinary delights and rich history that makes the berry a beloved local treasure. Whether in pies, jams, or cocktails, Buena Park’s boysenberry legacy is deliciously embedded in the community’s culture.
