Greetings!
This is the week when NATJA will hold its first virtual conference. Thanks to all who have registered for what is scheduled to be an informative, educational, and fun event.
Our conference committee members, Suzie Dundas, Helen Hatzis, Betsi Hill, Barbara Marrett and Gustavo Rivas-Solis, who met on a weekly basis, developed a program that is sure to appeal to all. Our sincere appreciation to our members who have stepped up to assist as emcees and panel moderators: Advisory Board Co-Chair Francesca Donlan, The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel; Barbara Marrett, Visit San Juan Islands; Kathryn Farrington, Discover Newport; and our media members, Advisory Board Co-Chair Tim Leffel, Tonya Fitzpatrick, and Troy Petenbrink.
Special thanks to our staff and producer for all they have done behind the scenes to put this conference together. Rick Bielke, our producer, has shared his communications expertise and virtual event knowledge to lead this conference. Yani Leon has worked tirelessly to assure that all of the conference elements are in place, from the event platform to the production, in addition to her other NATJA responsibilities. Omar Rodriguez has been Yani’s right hand in building this conference and the operational elements. Laura Nuño has led our social media and marketing efforts, liaised with our destination attendees, and provided beautiful graphics and designs along the way.
