Dear NATJA Family,
As I write this message, we are only days away from welcoming the Spring season. The ground awakens from a winter’s nap with beautiful flowers, carpets of grass, critters running up and down trees, and the excitement of planning future travel. It is one of the most beautiful times of the year.
Here at NATJA, we are planning our Spring get-away to Puerto Rico from May 3rd-6th for our 19th Annual Conference & Marketplace. The professional development is in place and we are excited to welcome editors from major publications to provide their insight on travel, as well as how they handle queries. It is becoming a “must attend” event.
I would like to give a huge congratulations to Joy Bushmeyer, our TravelWorld magazine editor. The magazine is a quality publication and I am proud to announce that a few of the TWI queries also placed in this year’s awards competition, including John Gottberg Anderson’s work. Congratulations, John!
Remember, this publication is your publication. Only members can submit articles for the magazine. Our readership is up and we couldn’t be prouder! Be sure to look out for the next TWI issue, scheduled for April 1st.
