Dear Friends,
As we begin the month of July, we contemplate the liberties and free society we are privileged to experience. This is a time of celebration and gratitude. We must not forget the lives that have been lost protecting our freedoms not just in the War of Independence, but in subsequent wars and conflicts worldwide. Personally, I enjoy the sounds of John Phillips Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever” or George M. Cohan’s “Yankee Doodle Dandy” during this special time of the year. Let’s take time to enjoy the parades and gatherings with friends and family to celebrate the great land where we live.
Happy 4th!
Warmly,
Helen
