Happy Fall!
I am writing the NATJA Notes introduction this month while Helen Hernandez and Ben Root enjoy a much-deserved trip abroad.
It’s almost Thanksgiving and many use this time to reflect on gratitude. I recently spoke to a new NATJA member and shared my gratitude for this community. There are so many curious, talented and adventurous members who make the world a better place by sharing their love of travel.
Speaking of, I hope you have considered registering for the 2023 NATJA Conference in Fairbanks, Alaska (the Golden Heart of Alaska) from May 16-20. Please see the website for details. You won’t want to miss it.
The 31st Annual NATJA Awards Competition submission period is now over. Thanks to everyone who submitted. Winners will be announced by February 2023.
