I was trained as a journalist and worked professionally in Europe as a public information officer for the U.S. European Command and later as the editor of a Dallas-area suburban daily. I then segued into other ventures, including a 15-year career as a homebuilder. For the past dozen years, I have been a full-time freelancer and content writer, for both print and on-line publications and thousands of clients. I now concentrate on travel and food stories, and travel the globe in search of great content ideas.
