Bennett Root is a photographer and writer who has been able developed his craft over twenty some years of traveling throughout the United States and frequently in Europe and Asia. Most recently, Root has served as Executive Vice President for the North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) and staff writer and photographer for TravelWorld International Magazine.

In addition to his work as a writer and photographer, Root has worked as a partner in a large, international law firm and has served as counsel to several entrepreneurial ventures.

Root's undergraduate work was at University of Michigan. He holds an advanced degree from Harvard University and has studied at Oxford University (Worchester, Merton Colleges) and UCLA. He is also a performing Member of the Magic Castle in Los Angeles.
