As a medical professional myself, the blog also addresses travel health and the importance of being prepared for when issues occur. In my previous career, I was a nurse in Oncology Research. I am a published medical author and contributed a chapter to a graduate nursing textbook. I continue to serve as a senior member of a medical research ethics board.
