I am a travel journalist with more than 15 years of experience in the travel industry and in sustainable tourism in particular.

Since fall 2022, I report full-time on travel for Bloomberg Pursuits, part of Bloomberg News and Bloomberg Businessweek, focusing on global stories with both a consumer and business lens.  A few of my pieces have won awards from the Society of American Travel Writers and the North American of Travel Journalists Association.

My monthly column at Bloomberg, launched in April 2024 and called the Better Travel Bureau, examines the business of making tourism more equitable, more inclusive and less harmful to the environment. 

Prior to Bloomberg, I produced stories and content for numerous digital and print travel publications, as well as travel brands, including BBC, Condé Nast Traveler, CNN, Skift, Marriott Bonvoy and Travel + Leisure, and tourism boards—all focused on sustainable travel.

I also have extensive experience speaking and moderating at major travel events.

Last but not least, my multicultural background underpins my passion for cultural heritage preservation, and equity and sustainability in tourism.
