I've been a writer and editor for more than 30 years. Wanderlust is bred in the bone and it has taken me to Tanzania for two years as a CUSO volunteer, and to Brazil and around South America (lugging two small children) for six months during my husband's sabbatical. I have been food editor for Hamilton Magazine, an editor for The Consultant (a glossy business magazine for the Foodservice Consultants Society International), an editor for Forever Young Newsmagazine and for City Parent, an editor for the American Cheese Society newsletter (think artisan cheesemakers around North America - definitely one of my favorite gigs) and a regular contributor to Foodservice and Hospitality, the official magazine of the Canadian Restaurant Association. My travel articles have been published in The Globe & Mail, The Toronto Star, Zoomer, and I am currently a regular contributor to eastwestnewsservice.com and roamancing.com.
It's a long list but it reflects a passion for exploring the food, the people, the history, the culture, and most importantly the unexpected, everywhere I go. Sharing my stories has won me a number of TMAC and SATW awards, of which I am very proud.
