Starting my writing career over 20 years ago as an editorial assistant I quickly transitioned to freelance writing. I wrote for several local and regional newspapers and magazines in that capacity. Topics included personal and business profiles, health and wellness, women's issues, fashion, feature stories, and culture.

Additionally, I've contributed to two books; an A & E book about organized crime, (UK release) and a book rewrite (How to Start Your Own TravelBusiness, Entrepreneur, released 2011).

In 2015, I shifted my focus entirely to travel blogging. Since that time, I have written and managed three travel websites. Content covers destination guides, product reviews, gift guides, How-to articles, and hotel/resort reviews.

As a travel writer, I cover adventure travel for people over 40, multigenerational trips, resorts, cruising, UNESCO sites, cycling, botanical and natural gardens, as well as independent coffeehouses and roasteries. 

Currently, I am transitioning to a hybrid career between blogging and freelancing.  I'm looking to build relationships with other writers, publishers, and tourism professionals in furtherance of those objectives.
