Susan is a professional writer who fell for adventure travel on a self-guided trek of Nepal's Annapurna Circuit. In 2020, she launched "Midlife Globetrotter," a website and community to help women 40+ follow their travel dreams to new places. Susan is passionate about sharing lesser-known destinations as a way to make travel more rewarding and sustainable. She loves to ski, hike, and cycle and tries to inspire others to be open to new experiences. Her recent adventures have included attending language school in Lyon, France, a solo safari in Botswana and hiking the Colorado Trail. Her writing career began in daily journalism as a reporter with Canada's National Post. She lives in Denver with her family and rescue dog.
