Hello NATJA!
My name is Jim Bamboulis. I've been creating content in the broadcast/digital and social media worlds for over 20 years! I spent 15 years as a national TV Host/Producer/Director/Writer for several outlets including The Weather Network, CBC Sports for two Olympic Games and CTV, among other networks.
During those I transitioned from broadcast to digital and social media, working as a freelance travel and food writer, photographer and videographer for clients such as Trivago, Lonely Planet TV, Tourism Toronto, Toronto.com. By 2017, I began to collaborate with several travel and tourism related brands and tourism boards to promote travel, culinary and cultural experiences including, The European Union, GMC and Chevrolet, Copenhagen Tourism, and the Athens Greece Marathon. In addition, I also started to collaborate with Airbnb and TripAdvisor, creating and hosting two Greektown Toronto Food Tours, showcasing both the city and local community for international travellers and introducing them to authentic Greek food experiences.
In 2019, I became a member of TMAC and by 2020, I launched Mazee Gifts & Classes with the aim of delivering/shipping authentic Greek food to homes around North America (Tonya Fitzpatrick and Helen Hatzis are among those NATJA Members who ordered my gift baskets). Also in 2020, I re-launched my podcast - Fact Up Podcast with Jim Bamboulis - available on YouTube and everywhere you get your podcasts including iTunes, Spotify and iHeartRadio.
